SVITS is one among 30 engineering colleges in which JKCs are established first time in A.P.in the year 2004. In JKC the students are trained to learn the technical skills, soft skills, project management skills and communication skills by employing accelerated learning strategies.
The following programmes are being organised through JKC:
Campus Placement Mission (CPM) : IT & ITES industry is generating new opportunities everyday to meet its global demands. CPM functions as a “Gateway to the corporate world” for prospective professional graduates by bringing awareness of skills required by the Industry, assessing their skills & suitability for placement and organizing campus placements. Campus Placement Related Skills(CPRS) : Moulding the students to the perspective of corporate community is the main objective of CPRS. It is a training program that bring out and strengthens their inherent skills, plus equips them with employable skills that are missing. Jawahar Intership Programe: Internships are awarded to identify and reward the talent, propagate the skill of the talented Jawahar Interns to the rest of the college, thereby increasing and improving the talent skills of the student community. JKC-Campus Connect: With a focus to provide quality human resources to the nation JKC joined hands with Infosys under Campus Connect initiative Foundation programme and soft skills programmes are being organised to students.
Institution- Industry- Interaction :
The training and placement cell of SVITS is actively interacting with various industries and developed continuous rapport in order to expose the students to practical environment to enable the students to integrate theory and practice. Further, the cell is bringing Industries to Institution in order to impart Industry Grade Employable Skills and outsource the research work/projects. The training and placement cell is also providing an opportunity to the students to handle live projects following Industry standards.
Training in GRE/TOEFL for further studies abroad.
To facilitate the final year students planning to go abroad for higher studies are given intensive training in GRE & TOEFL to with stand the competition. This helped the students to seek admissions in reputed foreign universities. |
