The department of Information Technology started in the academic year 1998-1999 with an intake capacity of 60 students. The department of Information Technology is headed by Mr. K.Krishna Naik. He is a postgraduate in Information Technology from Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad and also pursuing PhD from R&D cell, JNT University-Hyderabad.
The department of Information Technology has state-of-art laboratories in the various
disciplines with more than 120 computers (Recent Configuration), with all required software which serves as the lifeline of the department.
