Sree Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology & Science is pioneering rural Engineering College in Mahabubnagar district of Andhra Pradesh. The  Institution  was sponsored & Established by Jayanthi Educational Society In the Year 1998 with the Approval of   AICTE New Delhi and the Govt.  of Andhra Pradesh. It is  affiliated to the  Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad .The Institute is fully self financed and managed by the  dynamic members of the  Jayanthi Educational Society.

The institution is located just 18KM away from Mahabubnagar District Head Quarters on Hyderabad -Mahabubnagar-Raichur Highway. The nearest Airport is  Hyderabad.  The Institution  magnificent  building  on  a landscape  of 32 Acres  owned by Institute  Mahabubnagar is well connected by Rail and Road It is just 90 minutes  journey from Hyderabad.
